How To Create A Club On 8 Ball Pool
8 Ball Pool is a fun and popular multiplayer pool game from Miniclip Studio, which allows you to face players from all over the world in different types of games. Recently, it has become the most downloaded game on the iPhone App Store (iOS) and the Play Store for Android, according to the consulting website App Annie, which records data from the mobile market. To make the most of the 8 Ball Pool, check out tips on how to manage the social elements of the game. It is possible, for example, to create a club, activate chat, disable notifications and change the color of the ranking star.
In addition to pool games, 8 Ball Pool has several social elements to keep in touch with your friends and to transform opponents into new friendships. When logging in with Facebook, you can even call friends from the network to play. Among other social elements, the player can create a club, in which other users can join and represent him in league matches. There is also the possibility to connect a chat with predefined messages to communicate with your opponents during matches.
How to create a club?
To have the privilege of creating a club, the user must be at least level 6 in the game and will need to pay 5,000 game coins as a fee to open it. When you have the prerequisites, tap the "Clubs" icon in the upper left corner and, in the clubs window, tap the "Create" tab. Give your club a name and description and check out the other options.
In the "Type" option, the user can determine whether anyone can join the club or only those who have an invitation. In "Total winnings required", it is possible to limit the club to only members who have a certain amount of coins. Finally, in "Location", the user determines the country of the club. On the right side, you can also change the club emblem. When you're happy, tap "Create".
How to activate chat?
In the 8 Ball Pool home menu, tap on a gear symbol in the lower left corner to open the game settings. Scroll down the screen until you find a line that says "Disable in-game chat" and turn it off so that chat is enabled in matches. To use the chat during matches, just click on the speech bubble above the user's name and choose one of the messages.
The 8 Ball Pool chat only allows predefined messages to be sent to other players. The user can change the order in which they appear in the list by clicking "Edit" in the option that says "Chat order", just below the button that turns the chat on and off. So it is possible to separate some of the most useful or most used messages like "Good luck" or "Sent well!".
How to change the color of the star?
During matches, 8 Ball Pool players may encounter opponents who have colored stars in their profile, while the player's own star has only a dull beige tint. This is not a customization option, however, the color of the star indicates the user's ranking based on how many trophies he already has.
When winning a match, the user receives trophies and, by touching his profile, then on "Trophy Road", he can see the career path and bonuses that his total number of trophies will offer over time. Upon reaching a certain number of victories, the player joins the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum league, with stars increasingly decorated. From the Amethyst League, the stars have different colors like pink in the Amethyst League, blue in the Sapphire League, green in the Emerald League and so on.
How to disable notifications?
On smartphones, 8 Ball Pool sends many notifications about various elements of the game and some can become uncomfortable. Notification that friends are online can be turned off in the game's own settings, accessed by the gear icon in the lower left corner of the home menu. Just scroll down until you see the "Notifications from online friends" option and turn it off.
For all other notifications, however, you need to adjust the game's access directly on your phone. When a notification appears at the top of the screen, lower the status bar, tap the notification and hold. It is then possible to disable that type of notification or enter the settings and manually choose which ones are allowed.
